Vision Sensor - Sachet Detection in a Blister Pack

In today's modern manufacturing and packaging environment, maintaining correctly labelled, secure, dry packages is essential to any production and delivery line.

For this application, the customer requested a vision system to determine that a desiccant sachet was dropped onto a blister pack prior to the sealing of any airtight package.

An Omron F150 vision system was used to confirm the desiccant was in place prior to sealing.

The desiccant draws in any moisture from the inside of the packet to maintain the quality of the tablets.

This simple yet effective sensor detection application ensured that you could detect whether a desiccant sachet was present before sealing of any packaging.
