Lenze provide a wide range of intelligent electromagnetic spring loaded Brake and Clutch systems. INTORQ & magneta electromagnetic clutches & brakes transmit torque by friction during dry running under voltage. Clutch-brake units consist of an electromagnetic clutch and brake mounted in a single housing. They are used throughout the mechanical engineering industry wherever production is sequenced cyclically.

• Electromagnetic Clutches & Brakes - INTORQ products are identified by short operating times, low motor moment of inertia and torque transfer with no torsional backlash
• Magneta Clutches & Brakes - magneta electromagnetic clutches and brakes transmit torque through dry running friction material. With DC voltage applied, the torque is transmitted without backlash
