Omron FQ-CR1 Vision Code Reader

The Omron FQ-CR1 smart camera platform offers all the benefits of the FQ smart sensor clear images with intuitive setup and flexible operation and also has the ability to read a wide selection of 1D and 2D barcodes.

With Ethernet connectivity and built in code verification, the Omron FQ-CR1 offers a versatile, cost effective solutions for barcode applications.

The Omron FQ-CR1 features integrated high power LED lighting and HDE imaging technology. The FQ-CR1 recognises nine different barcode formats and eight different 2D code formats without the need for setting, thereby making it simple and easy to configure.

The Omron FQ-CR1 covers operating distance from 32mm to 970 mm and fields of view from 7.5 x 4.7 mm to 380 x 300mm. The range of options is a great benefit as many conventional code readers have an inconveniently short operating range, making it hard to find a suitable mounting position for them.

Setting up the FQ-CR1 can be carried out using PC based software or by using optional handheld Touch finder screen.

The FQ-CR2 allows the stable reading of codes that are molded or impressed into objects used e.g. in the automotive or electronic industry. The automatic adaption of settings ensures identifying the inspection conditions under which even challenging codes can be read.
